Job Description
The iPhone Camera Technician performs inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and quality testing of front and rear camera systems in iPhones.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose camera-related issues, including:
- Blurry images
- Focus failures
- Camera app errors
- Black screen or no image output
- Flash synchronization problems
- Face ID camera module issues (where applicable)
- Disassemble and reassemble iPhones using proper repair procedures.
- Replace faulty camera modules, flex cables, connectors, and related components.
- Perform micro-soldering and board-level repairs when required.
- Conduct functional testing after repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify hardware faults.
- Maintain repair records and documentation.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures.
- Ensure repairs meet quality-control standards.
- Manage inventory of camera modules and repair parts.
Required Skills
- Experience repairing iPhones.
- Knowledge of iPhone hardware architecture and camera systems.
- Ability to use precision repair tools and microscopes.
- Understanding of electronics troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with micro-soldering.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification in mobile phone repair or electronics.
- 1–3 years of iPhone repair experience.
- Experience with Apple device repairs is highly desirable.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
