Overview:

We're partnering with a prominent institutional investment platform in the Middle East to hire a senior professional for their Performance Analytics function, reporting directly to the COO.

This is a high-visibility role combining investment performance measurement, macro/market analytics, and data-driven decision support within a sophisticated, multi-asset investment environment.

The Opportunity

You'll be the go-to expert for performance analytics—bridging data, investment strategy, and executive reporting. This is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of quantitative analysis and strategic communication.

What You'll Do:

Investment Performance & Risk Analytics

  • Lead performance measurement, KPI tracking, and benchmarking across the investment portfolio
  • Analyse returns, attribution, and risk metrics to support Board and Committee reporting
  • Manage end-to-end corporate performance cycles aligned to strategic objectives

Macro & Market Analysis

  • Monitor global macro trends to support investment decision-making
  • Generate quantitative insights on market drivers from mainstream and alternative data sources
  • Contribute macro and factor analysis to the investment process

Data & Systems

  • Serve as subject matter expert for SimCorp – driving data architecture, governance, and reporting improvements
  • Champion automation and analytics tool enhancements

What We're Looking For:

Experience

  • 7-10 years in investment performance, portfolio analytics, or related roles
  • Background in SWFs, asset managers, holding companies, or consulting firms
  • Strong grasp of performance measurement frameworks, KPI design, and investment reporting

Skills

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical capabilities
  • Deep understanding of macroeconomic drivers and market dynamics
  • Proficiency with data governance principles and analytics platforms (SimCorp experience a plus)
  • Clear, structured communication for senior stakeholders and Board-level materials

Education:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • CFA (or progress) highly desirable
