Role Description The Investigation Manager is a part-time position based in Dubai in a hybrid working model, combining on-site presence at the private office with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves planning, leading, and executing investigations into sensitive matters, including due diligence on individuals and entities, review of business relationships, and assessment of potential risks. The Investigation Manager will gather, verify, and analyze information from multiple sources, prepare clear and structured reports, and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making by senior leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining detailed and secure records, ensuring that investigative activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, and handling confidential information with strict discretion. The role also involves monitoring emerging risks, refining investigative processes, and contributing to the development of best practices for risk mitigation and information security within the office.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in investigations, due diligence, compliance, risk management, or a related field, ideally within private office, corporate, legal, or security environments.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex information and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured investigative reports; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion, integrity, and sound judgment, including experience handling high-profile or high-risk matters.
- Solid understanding of relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations related to investigations, privacy, and data protection, particularly in international or GCC contexts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a part-time, hybrid setting.
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools and secure data management practices; familiarity with investigative databases, open-source intelligence (OSINT), or background-check tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Security Studies, International Relations, Business, or a related discipline; relevant certifications in
