Inventory Officer-Chemical Terminal Jobs in Dubai, UAE at AquaChemie
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Officer to manage inventory operations for our chemical storage terminal handling 100+ chemicals, 26 bulk storage tanks (32,000 CBM capacity), packaged chemicals (Drums & IBCs), and third-party warehouses. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, SAP transactions, stock reconciliation, and coordinating inventory movements across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory for bulk and packaged chemicals.
- Perform inventory reconciliation and ensure system vs. physical stock accuracy.
- Execute SAP transactions (MM/SD) related to inventory and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Monitor batch tracking, stock movements, and inventory reporting.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Support stock audits, cycle counts, and month-end inventory closing.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and SAP-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory).
- 5–8 years of inventory experience in a chemical plant, storage terminal, or petrochemical industry.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (MM/SD preferred).
- Good understanding of bulk liquid storage, chemical handling, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
