Job Title: Inventory Controller
Location: Mussafah, Abu Dhabi
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Inventory Controller (Perfume and Cosmetics).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Shipping: Inspect and log incoming shipments for accuracy and damage; prepare outgoing orders with appropriate shipping labels.
- Stock Auditing: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them against computerized system records.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate missing or damaged stock, identify root causes (such as theft or data-entry errors), and report findings to management.
- Inventory Control: Monitor reorder points, facilitate stock replenishment, and identify slow-moving or obsolete items for clearance.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized storage environment to ensure quick, safe, and efficient stock retrieval.
- Developing and utilizing industry-standard inventory control methods, such as just-in-time (JIT) or first-in, first-out (FIFO) approaches
- Helping set ideal reorder points for stock based on how often items are used, vendor delivery times and seasonal demand patterns
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Higher education (like an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or logistics) is preferred for more advanced positions.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stock environments is highly valued.
