Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory/Order specialist to manage product sample preparation for our sales team. Responsibilities include sourcing and preparing packaging components from a large inventory. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Sample Preparation & Coordination:
Organize and prepare materials based on sales team requests.
Retrieve and assemble packaging components from inventory.
Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of sample requests.
Inventory Management:
Maintain stock levels and update inventory records.
Document all materials used in sample preparation.
Attention to Detail & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all samples meet quality standards.
Inspect materials for defects.
Organization & Timeliness:
Coordinate with departments to manage sample preparation efficiently.
Meet strict deadlines for sample completion.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the sales team to clarify requirements.
Communicate with internal teams for timely stock availability.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Follow health and safety guidelines during sample preparation.
Properly store materials to prevent accidents.
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory Expertise:
Experience in inventory or sample preparation, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Background:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail; familiarity with inventory software and Excel.
Key Competencies
Ability to manage multiple sample requests and prioritize effectively.
Strong verbal communication skills for collaboration.
Quick resolution of discrepancies in sample preparation.
