About the Role
The North Land Institute of Training is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven International Student Recruitment Specialist – Middle East Market to lead student recruitment and market development initiatives across the Middle East.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in international education, student recruitment, education consulting, or related business development, together with a strong understanding of the Middle Eastern education market.
This is a senior-level position requiring the ability to independently develop recruitment strategies, establish and manage institutional and agent partnerships, identify new market opportunities, and achieve student enrolment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive international student recruitment strategies for the Middle East market.
- Identify priority markets, recruitment channels, and growth opportunities across the region.
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with education agents, schools, colleges, universities, government organizations, and other strategic partners.
- Develop and manage a strong network of qualified education agents and recruitment partners.
- Represent The North Land at education fairs, recruitment events, conferences, school visits, webinars, and other promotional activities.
- Generate prospective student leads and manage recruitment pipelines from initial enquiry through application and enrolment.
- Provide prospective students and recruitment partners with accurate information regarding programs, admission requirements, tuition fees, and student services.
- Work closely with the admissions and marketing teams to develop recruitment campaigns appropriate for Middle Eastern markets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships that support international student enrolment.
- Monitor regional education trends, competitor activities, student demand, and changes affecting international student recruitment.
- Establish recruitment targets and regularly monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
- Prepare recruitment forecasts, market analysis, pipeline reports, and performance reports for management.
- Ensure recruitment activities and agent relationships are conducted professionally and in accordance with applicable institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Travel within the Middle East and internationally as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience in international student recruitment, international education, education consulting, business development, or a closely related field.
- Extensive knowledge of the Middle Eastern education and international student recruitment markets.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful student recruitment strategies.
- Strong existing relationships with education agents, schools, educational institutions, or other recruitment partners in the Middle East are highly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop new markets and achieve recruitment or business development targets.
- Strong leadership, relationship management, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple markets, partnerships, and recruitment initiatives.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
Language Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
- Arabic or other languages relevant to the Middle Eastern market are considered a strong asset.
Preferred Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Senior-level experience in international student recruitment or international education.
- Extensive experience recruiting students from Middle Eastern markets.
- An established network of education agents and institutional partners.
- Experience representing Canadian, UAE, UK, Australian, U.S., or other international education institutions.
- Demonstrated success in developing new international recruitment markets and achieving enrolment targets.
- Experience managing education agents and regional recruitment partnerships.
