Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and direct the engineering aspects of segment tunnelling and SCL operations.
Oversee the integration of Drill and Blast methods with new and existing projects, depending on project requirements.
Coordinate with
cross-functional teams
to ensure project compliance with technical specifications, safety standards and cost efficient delivery.
Lead project planning,
resource allocation
, and execution to meet or exceed project deliverables.
Serve as the primary technical advisor for tunnelling and underground construction projects.
Facilitate
communication
between project sites and headquarters, ensuring timely and accurate project updates.
Travel between the Middle East, Europe and the UK as required.
Align Health and Safety to country working in as well as UK standards to be always above the requirement to strive for excellence.
Lead and support our behaviour safety programme LIFE.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in tunnelling, particularly in segment tunnelling and SCL works.
Familiarity with Drill and Blast operations is highly desirable.
Strong
leadership
skills with the ability to work with and manage international teams of up to 39 different nationalities.
Excellent
problem-solving
and
project management
skills.
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification.
