Job brief:
This role is focused on the operational health of production systems. The primary responsibilities are to ensure comprehensive visibility through monitoring, manage the incident lifecycle from detection to resolution, and drive improvements in operational procedures to enhance system stability and reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR).
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain dashboards, alerts, and logging to ensure full visibility into system health and performance.
- Serve as a primary responder for production incidents. Lead triage, coordination, communication, and resolution efforts to restore service rapidly.
- Document incident timelines, contribute to post-incident reviews, and help implement action items to prevent recurrence. Focus on improving alert quality, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
- Provide expertise in troubleshooting complex issues across the stack. Work with engineering teams to bridge gaps in observability and improve system debuggability.
Education and experience:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
