About Your Team

You will be part of the Marketing and Communications department, reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications. You’ll work alongside brand, PR, and digital specialists in a collaborative environment, playing a key role in internal messaging and employee engagement.

Your Role:

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will:

– Develop engaging content for internal platforms – including newsletters, emails, intranet articles, and campaign materials.
– Partner with leadership to craft impactful and clear messages aligned with our strategy and culture.
– Manage internal channels such as intranet, digital signage, and presentations for company-wide communications.
– Execute internal campaigns for organisational initiatives, programs, and cultural events.
– Create content that fosters a connected culture, aligns with ALEC’s values, and supports collaboration.
– Gather and analyse feedback to improve internal communications strategies.
– Track communication performance metrics to enhance effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

– Minimum 3 years in internal communications, corporate communications, or content creation.

Knowledge & Skills:

– Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
– Understanding of internal communications best practices and digital platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
– Ability to tailor messaging for diverse internal audiences and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
