Internal Auditor Jobs in Dubai at Reliance Insurance Brokers LLC
Reliance Insurance Brokers LLC is looking for a highly competent and independent internal auditor to strengthen our governance, risk management, and internal control framework in line with UAE Central Bank requirements.
This role is critical in ensuring operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and transparency across all business functions.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading and executing internal audits across key functions including operations, underwriting, finance, and claims
- Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks
- Ensuring compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and internal policies
- Identifying control gaps, risk exposures, and process inefficiencies, and recommending practical corrective actions
- Preparing clear, structured audit reports and presenting findings to senior management
- Monitoring and following up on the implementation of audit recommendations
- Reviewing financial records, transactions, and operational activities for accuracy and compliance
- Developing and executing a risk-based annual internal audit plan
- Assessing adherence to AML/KYC requirements and reporting any gaps
- Coordinating with external auditors and supporting regulatory reviews when required
Who We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of internal audit experience within insurance brokerage or financial services in the UAE
- Strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk management frameworks, and governance practices
- Solid knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements applicable to insurance brokers (UAE Central Bank)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalency certificate required if obtained outside the UAE)
- Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA are highly preferred
- Ability to operate independently and objectively, with no conflict of interest with operational functions (as expected under regulatory frameworks)
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality
