Position Overview
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, assessing risk management processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who can identify inefficiencies, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems
- Identify audit findings and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
- Support development and improvement of internal audit procedures
- Assist in risk assessments and compliance reviews
- Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with departments to improve operational efficiency and control frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in internal auditing or related roles
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and internal control frameworks
- Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and integrity
- Proficiency in MS Office and audit tools
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
