Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Interior & Fit-Out Planning Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for interior fit-out works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks.
- Analyze the critical path and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, procurement, site engineers, and subcontractors.
- Track procurement, material delivery, shop drawing approvals, and site activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates.
- Assist in resource planning and productivity analysis.
- Support tender planning by preparing project timelines and construction methodologies.
- Attend project meetings and provide schedule-related updates.
- Ensure compliance with contract milestones and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of planning experience, with at least 3 years in interior fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out construction sequences and project controls.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of delay analysis, Critical Path Method (CPM), and resource planning.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with commercial, hospitality, retail, or luxury residential fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
