As anInterior Designerin theAbyatProjects Division, the primarypurposeis to contribute to the success of design projects by initiating and overseeing the selection, specification, and production of high-quality designs. Collaborating closely with the Senior Designer and under the direction of the Head of Department, the Designer plays a crucial role in managingcommunication, reviewing project inquiries, and ensuring the seamless execution of design tasks.
Thepurposeextends to delivering comprehensive design solutions, from product selection to documentation preparation, while maintaining effectivecollaborationwith various teams and stakeholders. The Designer aims to upholdAbyat’scommitment to excellence by producing accurate drawings, presentations, and cost-related documents, contributing to the overall success of design projects and fostering positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
Initiate product selection, kitchen, wardrobe, door designs, and material selections.
Produce drawings, layouts, presentations, and pricing information.
Communicate regularly on project status and maintain teamcommunication.
Receive tasks from the senior designer and liaise with the design team.
Prepare quotes using standard products or customize as per customer specifications.
Utilize design applications for layouts, drawings, and 3D renders.
Document all projectcommunicationin the project server.
Report and update project status usingcommunicationtools regularly.
Submit weekly time sheets for task/project tracking.
Qualifications:
5-8 years experience in fit-out contractor, furniture factory or furniture wholesales, building materials or finishing suppliers.
Autocad,Power point & Excel,Photoshop, and3D Max is a plus.
