We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative interior design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time while meeting quality standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative interior design concepts based on client requirements and project objectives.
- Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
- Produce detailed drawings including layout plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), elevations, sections, and joinery details.
- Create and review shop drawings for interior fit-out works.
- Develop high-quality 3D models and realistic renderings for client presentations.
- Select finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, structural consultants, and contractors.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and project coordination meetings.
- Review material samples and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Resolve design and site-related issues during project execution.
- Ensure drawings comply with local authority requirements and project standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material approvals and fabrication.
- Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and quality execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of UAE experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design.
- Strong understanding of interior detailing, construction methods, and materials.
- Experience in preparing construction and shop drawings.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and industry standards is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Enscape.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical drawings.
- Strong space planning and material selection skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of BIM software such as Revit is an advantage.
- Familiarity with project coordination and site supervision.
- Experience in preparing material specifications.
