Position : Detailer (Cladding / Sheet Metal Work)
Work Location : Jebel Ali, Dubai
Minimum Experience : 5+ Years
Required : For immediate joining
Key Roles and responsibilities:
Model complex shape sheet metal cladding panels, curved panels, and multibody parts.
Generate GA Drawings (General Arrangement Drawings) and Part Drawings for manufacturing.
Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM), including part weight and area.
Create accurate flat patterns and export to DXF for CNC punching/Laser machine.
Produce detailed Shop Drawings in AutoCAD for client approval.
Able to coordinate with other trades by using Revit / Navisworks models.
Key Requirements:
SolidWorks: Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal, Surface, Weldment, configurations, equations, custom properties and Multibody Parts Modelling.
Parts Assembly: Experience assembling parts and managing relationships/mates between components.
Exporting Flat Patterns to DXF: Expertise in generating flat patterns of sheet metal parts and preparing them for manufacturing.
AutoCAD Proficiency: 2d Drawing, Attributes & Dynamic blocks etc.
Preferred Skills:
API Automation: Familiarity with SolidWorks API and C# macro development to automate repetitive design tasks is a significant advantage.
