Staff Site Nurse – Construction Site
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Male Nurse to join our team at a construction site in Dubai. The Male Nurse will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and safety of our workforce by providing immediate medical care, managing health records, and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Immediate Medical Care:
Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees who are injured or ill on the construction site.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Health Monitoring:
Conduct regular health checks and monitor the well-being of employees.
Maintain and manage health records of all employees, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Health and Safety Promotion:
Promote health and safety practices among workers through training and awareness programs.
Conduct health and safety training sessions for employees, including first aid and CPR.
Incident Management:
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and incidents on the construction site.
Document all incidents, treatments, and follow-ups, maintaining accurate medical records.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with the site safety team to identify and mitigate health risks.
Coordinate with external healthcare providers and hospitals as needed for further medical treatment and referrals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Valid nursing license from the relevant health authority.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse, preferably in an industrial or construction setting.
Certification in First Aid and CPR.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent clinical and nursing skills with a strong ability to handle emergencies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions in emergencies.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate health records.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of working on a construction site.
