Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Interior Architect to join our design team in Dubai. The candidate will have strong interior design and technical skills, with hands-on experience in shop drawings, site coordination, inspections, and snagging. The role supports both residential and commercial projects, working closely with the Design Manager, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical
- Develop and review interior design drawings, layouts, and technical details.
- Prepare shop drawings when required and review consultant/contractor submissions.
- Review materials, finishes, joinery details, ceiling layouts, lighting layouts, and general interior design elements.
- Support the design development of interior spaces as required.
Site Coordination
- Conduct site inspections and snagging works.
- Check site execution against approved drawings and design intent.
- Identify design or site issues and propose practical solutions.
- Ensure drawings and site works are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Support both residential and commercial projects from design stage through to site execution.
- Support landscape design coordination when required, including reviewing outdoor spaces, finishes, softscape/hardscape intent, and general landscape design integration.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in interior design, technical drawings, and site coordination.
- Experience in the UAE or GCC market is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience with a developer, consultant, or fit-out company preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior design, materials, finishes, joinery, ceilings, lighting, and detailing.
- Ability to review and produce interior drawings and shop drawings.
- Proven experience in site inspections, snagging, and contractor coordination.
- Familiarity with local authority processes (Dubai Municipality, DDA, or Trakhees) is an advantage.
Pay: AED1.00 – AED2.00 per month
