Job Overview

Senior interface management professional leading digital infrastructure delivery for a large program in Riyadh. Responsible for establishing and controlling interface frameworks across fiber networks, towers, data centers, smart systems, utilities, MMRs, POPs, telecom infrastructure, and city‑wide digital infrastructure packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define interface management procedures, workflows, governance structures, and reporting methods for design, engineering, construction, and delivery teams.
  • Establish the interface control framework across digital infrastructure packages including fiber networks, towers, data centers, utilities, smart systems, MMRs, POPs, and telecom corridors.
  • Chair interface coordination meetings and ensure actions, decisions, risks, and dependencies are tracked against project standards and masterplan requirements.
  • Identify and document all technical, contractual, operational, authority, and stakeholder interfaces across digital infrastructure work streams.
  • Maintain and update Interface Control Documents across disciplines, contractors, consultants, EPCs, operators, utility providers, and client teams.
  • Develop and control interface registers, issue logs, dependency trackers, mitigation plans, escalation records, and closure evidence.
  • Track interface risks, unresolved issues, delayed inputs, third‑party dependencies, design conflicts, and construction coordination gaps.
  • Ensure clash detection and resolution is properly managed through BIM and GIS integration processes.
  • Review district CMP and DMP submissions to confirm interface requirements, access corridors, utility dependencies, and construction coordination needs are addressed.
  • Coordinate between design managers, engineering managers, construction managers, consultants, contractors, and operators to resolve interface conflicts.
  • Facilitate approvals and change management for cross‑disciplinary modifications affecting digital infrastructure, utilities, smart systems, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to interface milestones and escalate delays, deviations, unresolved decisions, or non‑compliant submissions.
  • Support commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing, and Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer style readiness activities by ensuring interfaces are resolved and ready for handover.
  • Ensure digital infrastructure interfaces comply with applicable codes and standards including TIA, BICSI, SBC, IEC, IEEE, MOMRAH, and CST requirements.
  • Validate that safety, resilience, cybersecurity, maintainability, and operational access considerations are built into interface decisions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for interface topics with authorities and key stakeholders including SEC, NWC, CST, MOMRAH, SDAIA, and HCIS.
  • Manage interface alignment with external concessionaires, Tower Co, Fiber Co, data center operators, mobile network operators, utilities, and service providers.
  • Represent interface status, risks, decisions, and closure progress in client, owner, and steering committee forums.
  • Ensure Operations and Maintenance teams are engaged in interface reviews to validate accessibility, maintainability, monitoring, handover, and lifecycle requirements.
  • Support red‑line drawing reviews and as‑built integration across multiple contractors and delivery packages.
  • Provide interface closure evidence for Provisional Acceptance and Final Acceptance processes.
  • Lead the interface management team, assign responsibilities across packages, and monitor performance against interface deliverables.
  • Promote collaboration, transparency, accountability, and structured communication between disciplines, EPCs, consultants, authorities, and contractors.
  • Mentor junior interface coordinators and improve interface processes through lessons learned, quality reviews, and continuous improvement.
