JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is looking for an Interface Manager for one of the oil and gas projects in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for implementation and maintenance of the Project Interface Management processes and tools.
Follow up and support of Master Interface Register and Schedule contained within Interface Management, with a focus on maintaining the accuracy of the Master Interface Register.
Support all Engineering Contractors in successful coordination of Interface points and interface queries.
Monitor, advise, and ensure reports on the progress of Interface queries and interface points are produced on a regular basis.
Develop project performance management interface reports, and support the generation of monthly status reports on Interface Management.
Support individual Interface Single Point of Contacts (SPOCs).
Ensure that individual stakeholder interface responsibilities are clear and understood during the lifecycle of the Execute phase of the project.
Support contractors’ engineering groups in the identification of technical interface issues identified in contractor engineering meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Aramco experience is preferable.
Prior background in project engineering.
Engineering experience related to the outline.
Experience in an appropriate industry (ideally in one or more of Oil & Gas, LNG & GTL, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Power, Carbon Capture).
Be commercially astute and understand the different approaches required to managing lump sum and reimbursable work.
Have a broad technical knowledge.
