We are recruiting for Integrated Operations Control (IOC) Duty Manager within Qatar Executive.
In this role, you are responsible for overall operational performance and output of your shift. You will lead and manage your shift and take accountability and ownership for the decisions made within the IOC.
Responsibilities
- Supports the sales for revenue generation by ensuring that the operations are conducted in a safe manner and in compliance with all the regulatory requirements.
- Supervises the daily operation in order to deliver the best customer experience at the most cost efficient level.
- Balances the finance, customer and operational impacts while making decisions during disruptions.
- Ensures that decisions taken within the IOC are well thought out and appropriate decisions are achieved in collaboration with concerned parties.
- Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with all relevant departments (including but not limited to CAMO, Charter Sales, Dispatch, Crew Control, Ground Services, Security, Flight Safety, In-Flight)
- Evaluates any incidents and escalates through the Executive Management if required, initiating the Company Emergency Response Plan.
- Mentors and coaches IOC staff to enable them to reach their potential. Supports the development of individual team members.
- Identifies and analyses adverse trends within the operation and liaises with internal stakeholders to pursue improvements to the operating model.
- Complies with all applicable business and industry specific legislative/regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates the day to day staffing of the IOC.
- Works with the Business Continuity Team to ensure readiness in case of any unplanned system outages or issues directly impacting the IOC.
- Ensures the integrity and the optimization of the schedule for publishing to all stakeholders.
- Ensures that all Qatar Executive flights are operated within the framework of regulatory compliance.
- Accountable to achieve seamless operations throughout the Qatar Executive flying schedule.
Qualifications
- Completed College or University qualifications to minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Has minimum 7 years of job-related experience.
- Possession of Flight Dispatch license or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Joint Aviation Authority (JAA)/ Qatar Civil Authority regulations (QCAR).
- Has strong knowledge of Flight Operations Regulatory requirements.
- Has the ability to maintain and manage relationship with different stakeholders.
- Has strong planning and problem solving skills.
- Able to multi-tasks and has strong analytical capabilities.
- Able to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
