Insurance Specialist Jobs in Doha, Qatar at MetLife Gulf
Job Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets based on product mix
- Meet bank sales team (RMs/WAs) on a daily basis to explore opportunities for insurance sales
- Maintain a business pipeline for the month in conjunction with RM/WA
- Arrange product training and training refreshers for the sales team on a regular basis
- Educate sales team on underwriting guidelines to ensure smooth flow of business
- Arrange training on completion of application/documentation for sourced business to maintain TAT
- Keep sales team updated on business requirements submitted to Met Life
- Conduct field underwriting of new applications, ensuring completeness of relevant documentation
- Provide monthly performance reports of fund performance on the Met Life platform to the sales team
- Facilitate provision of policy statements and fund fact sheets to sales team promptly
- Ensure all sales materials (applications, brochures, etc.) are available to sales team at all times
- Attend joint client meetings with RM/WA
- Track contest qualifiers
- Support work on untapped clients/data of bank to generate new avenues of business
- Focus on RM activation across all segments to increase business
- Provide portfolio synopsis for HNI clients (million-dollar+)
- Assist RM/WA in quarterly portfolio reviews of clients
- Drive balanced portfolio mix of protection and savings
Qualifications and Experience
- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor)
- 2‑4 years of experience within retail sales, preferably in insurance or banking environment
- Strong sales capabilities
- Solid knowledge of the Qatar market
- Bilingual in Arabic and English
- Proficiency in MS Office
