Job Purpose

Protect the Company’s assets and interests from financial loss by ensuring adequate and cost-effective insurance coverage. Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual insurance renewal process in collaboration with relevant departments, and manage policy additions, deletions, and amendments as required throughout the policy period.

Job Accountabilities

  1. Lead the identification, assessment, analysis, monitoring, and reporting of insurable risks across the Company.
  2. Ensure that appropriate levels of insurance coverage are maintained through comprehensive insurance programs aligned with the Company’s risk profile and operational requirements.
  3. Develop, review, maintain, and update insurance policies, procedures, records, and supporting documentation.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to coordinate annual insurance renewals and administer the Company’s insurance programs.
  5. Review, assess, and draft contractual provisions relating to risk allocation, indemnities, insurance requirements, liabilities, and other related matters.
  6. Identify and address insurance and risk-related issues that could result in financial exposure, disputes, regulatory concerns, or litigation if not properly managed.
  7. Manage and monitor insurance claims throughout their lifecycle, including notification, documentation, investigation, negotiation, litigation, settlement, and recovery, in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
  8. Review, verify, process, and track insurance premiums, claim reimbursements, deductibles, broker fees, consultant fees, and third-party administrator invoices.
  9. Manage and coordinate the activities and performance of insurance brokers, insurers, loss adjusters, consultants, third-party administrators, and other insurance service providers.
  10. Coordinate and manage annual insurance audits, risk surveys, asset valuations, policy compliance reviews, and insurer inspection requirements.
  11. Maintain accurate insurance registers, including policy details, insured assets, claims, premiums, deductibles, renewal dates, and policy endorsements.
  12. Provide regular insurance and claims reports to senior management, highlighting key risks, claims trends, financial exposure, policy gaps, and recommended corrective actions.
  13. Manage, guide, and develop one direct report, including assigning responsibilities, reviewing performance, and supporting professional development.

Qualification :

Bachler in Accountant, or Finance, or Insurance.

Certification: CII

Experiences: Minimum of 10 years experiences with exposure to multiple insurance product such as ( Pricing, Operation,……)
