Job Description:
As a Civil Inspector, you will be responsible for surveillance and inspection of Civil, Structural and Building works associated with the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to verify they meet all applicable codes and regulations.
Perform on-site inspections at various stages of construction, including foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, and final inspections.
Identify and document any deficiencies or non-compliance issues and communicate them to the appropriate parties.
Maintain detailed records of all inspections, including photographs, measurements, and written reports.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.
Stay up to date with the latest building codes, regulations, and industry standards, and apply them consistently during inspections.
Provide guidance and advice to property owners, developers, and contractors on compliance requirements and best practices.
Attend meetings with stakeholders to discuss the progress and status of construction projects.
Ensure construction projects adhere tosafety protocolsand address any hazardous conditions in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of post-graduation experience inquality inspectionof civil, structural construction and building works related to Oil & Gas industry major projects.
Thorough knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and engineering standards.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
Strongattention to detailandproblem-solvingabilities.
Proficient in using inspection software and tools.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to construction sites as needed.
