Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections on engineering systems and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, non‑conformities, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols during inspections to protect personnel and property.
- Participate in quality assurance meetings and provide insights based on inspection data to promote continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that impact inspection processes and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and compliance documents for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mandatory certifications in accordance with at least one of the following programs: CSWIP 3.1, BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2, ASNT NDT Level II in MT, PT, UT, RT.
- Strong knowledge of ASME / ASTM standards.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical QA/QC roles.
- Third‑party inspection experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring and testing equipment and standard QA/QC tools.
- Strong ability to collaborate and find practical resolutions to issues.
- Capable of managing shifting priorities in fast‑paced environments.
