Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment and cranes in accordance with local and international standards.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, identifying non-conformities and providing recommendations.
Ensure all lifting operations and equipment comply with LEEA standards and relevant safety regulations.
Monitor the condition and performance of lifting machinery through regular audits.
Coordinate with site teams to schedule inspections and provide technical guidance.
Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for lifting equipment.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure inspection certifications are up to date.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Valid LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) certification is required.
Additional training or certifications related to lifting equipment and safety standards are preferred.
Minimum 2 to 7 years of hands-on inspection experience in cranes and lifting machinery.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of various types of cranes (mobile, tower, overhead, etc.) and lifting gear.
Strong understanding of lifting plans, load charts, and safety practices.
Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in using inspection tools and diagnostic equipment.
