Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE.
- Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring infrastructure construction is executed according to approved plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor and inspect ongoing works related to roads, drainage, utilities (water, electricity, sewage), transportation systems, and communication networks.
- Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and non-compliance with project specifications, providing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure all necessary permits, environmental regulations, and local building codes are adhered to during construction activities.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site challenges and ensure smooth coordination across teams.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports on site activities, materials, and workforce, providing updates on project status, risks, and delays.
- Conduct quality control and safety audits to ensure infrastructure works meet required standards and specifications.
- Monitor and manage construction budgets, tracking costs and identifying any discrepancies or variances to maintain cost control.
- Support the testing and commissioning of infrastructure systems once construction is complete, ensuring proper functionality and integration.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience gained from working on infrastructure projects in Dubai will be preferred.
