Information Technology Technical Support

We are seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to provide first-line and second-line technical assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of common IT issues. This role is crucial for ensuring our employees have the necessary tools and support to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, network, and system issues, both remotely and in person.

Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system promptly and professionally.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with operating systems (Windows, macOS), productivity software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace), and business applications.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software.

Manage user accounts in Active Directory or similar systems.

Assist with network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN troubleshooting.

Document support interactions, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system and knowledge base.

Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors.

Participate in IT projects like system upgrades, migrations, and hardware rollouts.

Educate users on IT security best practices and efficient technology use.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support roles.

Proficiency with Windows and macOS troubleshooting and support.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration.

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira Service Desk, Zendesk, Service Now).

Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Customer-focused attitude and commitment to quality support.
