Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with infectious diseases through detailed clinical assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans
- Consult with healthcare teams regarding complex infectious cases
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic results to guide clinical decision-making
- Educate patients and their families on prevention and management of infectious diseases
- Lead and participate in infection control and prevention programs
- Engage in clinical research and continuous professional development
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Infectious Diseases is required
- Valid, active medical license to practice
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in infectious diseases
- Strong knowledge of infectious disease pathology, diagnosis, and treatment protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
- Commitment to lifelong learning and research
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
