Title: In Process Laboratory Technician

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for preparing lab samples and performing tests in accordance with developed work instructions in
alignment with business needs.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

Testing & Preparation: Prepare specimens and perform laboratory tests such as FAW, RAW, IC, and sample cutting.
Safety Compliance: Conduct all testing using approved PPE (including respirators) and report "Near Misses" to the HSE Manager.
Equipment Oversight: Ensure all equipment is calibrated and functional; notify management of upcoming calibration due dates or malfunctions.
Data & Documentation: Record technical data in daily logs and equipment books, prepare graphs via computer, and support IPL documentation.
Quality & Efficiency: Follow strict methodologies for analysis and contribute to cost-efficient resource usage to reduce waste.

Requirements

Qualifications & Technical Skills

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Core Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), Google Workspace, SAP, and LIMS.
- Experience with composite material testing (Insoluble Content, Fiber Aerial Weight) and analytical balances preferred.
- Ability to be certified for half-face/mask cartridge respirator use.
- Strong ability to read and understand technical procedures and specifications

Working Conditions

Schedule: 5 days per week on a rotating shift pattern (Day, Afternoon, Night).

Physical Demands: Requires standing for extended periods and lifting/pulling various process tools and materials.

Hazardous Materials: Involves safe handling and processing of regulated or hazardous substances.

Technical: Demonstrates knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP), HSE standards (ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001), and Enterprise Risk Management.
