Title : IM & IT Manager
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications :
Essential :
Candidate would typically have over 15 years of experience working within the process industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Information Management (IM) and/or IT functions.
Degree qualified, preferably in engineering or IT disciplines.
Sound knowledge of design engineering work processes within the EPC industry.
Good understanding of IT systems, including engineering systems, content management / EDMS systems, networking / server technologies, portal technologies, and database concepts.
Ability to prioritize work effectively, direct team activities, manage and motivate diverse teams, and develop individual performance, with a focus on key role localization.
Capable of strategic planning and executing IM and IT transformation projects.
Excellent communication skills to present complex technical matters to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in proposals and contracts appraisal, developing competitive IM and IT estimates, and proposal documentation.
Ability to develop plans and procedures aligned with client and company requirements.
Skilled in building and maintaining strategic relationships with clients and suppliers.
Experience in setting and managing budgets/business plans, with working knowledge of financial processes.
Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to respond to unexpected demands.
Ability to identify process improvements and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
Proficient in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to highlight issues and risks, supporting decision-making, and developing business cases for funding.
Desirable :
Experience working with Middle East-based national oil companies and familiarity with their standards and requirements.
Knowledge of Smart Plant and/or Bentley engineering tools/systems.
Experience in planning IT infrastructure for design office facilities.
Understanding of ITIL service management principles.
Experience managing internal and external audits for QMS and cybersecurity compliance.
Knowledge of tag and data management principles within the process plant industry.
Familiarity with SharePoint or similar environments, including web content management and workflows.
