Job Objective
Engage with stakeholders across all levels to proactively understand business needs and define effective IT solutions. Manage issue resolution, data enrichment, application setup, and system testing. Serve as a subject matter expert for business systems, ensuring high-quality application support, process improvement, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with system analysts and application owners to design and maintain solutions.
Act as a liaison between Business Units, Solutions Teams, and IT for technology project impact management.
Serve as a subject matter expert on business systems and an escalation point for IT support and external consultants.
Address audit findings by coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely closure.
Understand and document business flows, application integrations, and information sensitivity.
Support feasibility studies for new solutions and prepare business case documentation.
Manage application version updates, deployment schedules, and configuration setups.
Identify and drive continuous process and system improvements.
Implement and support in-house customizations, enhancements, and add-ons.
Assist in prioritizing change requests and resolving complex technical issues.
Guide business users through newly implemented programs and processes.
Promote system synergies to minimize customizations and enhance business processes.
Contribute to risk identification, mitigation planning, and successful project delivery.
Prepare and present key project artifacts including scope documents, use cases, business process mappings, and gap analyses.
Support regression testing and coordinate test plans.
Maintain version-controlled documentation for functional specifications and user manuals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Professional
Experience:
Minimum 8 years’ experience in business analysis.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in process analysis and design.
Strong experience with project management systems (preferably in offshore operations and ship repair).
Expertise in implementing IFS solutions and integrating PMS software with ERP systems.
Solid customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced user), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, Visio, and SQL.
Other Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, work independently and under pressure.
Proficiency in project lifecycle management, quality assurance, and release management processes.
Expertise in business application implementation, support, and process improvements.
Language:
Fluent business English (spoken and written)
