An international engineering consultancy company is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeler to join our Roads & Infrastructure team in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, analysis, and design of stormwater drainage systems for major highway infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international engineering standards.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for roads and highway infrastructure projects.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within GCC countries.
- Valid MMUP Certification (Mandatory).
- Demonstrated expertise in stormwater management, hydraulic analysis, drainage network design, flood mitigation, and catchment assessment.
- Strong hands-on experience with hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks ICM, InfoDrainage, HEC-RAS, SWMM, MicroDrainage, or equivalent industry-standard applications.
- Thorough understanding of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Ashghal drainage design requirements, and international engineering codes and best practices.
- Ability to coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary design teams and deliver technically sound, high-quality engineering solutions under demanding project schedules.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
