HVAC Technician (Split Unit) Jobs in Abu Dhabi at al bazee
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain wall-mounted, ducted, and cassette-type split air conditioning units across the facility.
- Diagnose and repair faults in split AC systems, including compressor failures, fan motor burnouts, electrical control board (PCB) defects, and refrigerant leaks.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PPM), including deep cleaning of indoor/outdoor coils, drain line flushing, filter replacements, and checking electrical connections and current draws.
- Replace defective parts, such as capacitors, relays, fan blades, thermistors, and expansion valves, carrying out necessary system pressure adjustments.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, working at heights protocols (for outdoor unit servicing), and environmental regulations for refrigerant recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of gas charging levels, asset inventories, material consumption, and completed PPM checklists.
- Respond to localized cooling complaints and emergency split unit failures in a timely and professional manner to ensure occupant comfort.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various split AC systems within a commercial, residential, or retail property environment.
- Technical diploma or certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related electrical/mechanical trade (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of split system wiring diagrams, single-phase power supplies, compressor operation, and refrigerant properties (R22, R410A, R32).
- Ability to read and interpret equipment wiring schematics, installation manuals, and building layout drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly trace electrical control issues, gas blockages, or drainage overflow faults.
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
