HVAC Technician Jobs in Al Quoz at HALO
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC equipment and be able to ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues in air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Service and repair equipment such as:
- Split and ducted AC units
- Package units
- FCUs and AHUs
- VRF/VRV systems
- Exhaust and fresh air systems
- Chillers and associated equipment, where applicable
- Inspect electrical and mechanical components, including compressors, motors, thermostats, control panels, and refrigerant systems.
- Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak testing, and pressure testing in accordance with applicable safety standards.
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Ensure proper installation of ducting, piping, insulation, grills, diffusers, and related HVAC components.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other site personnel to complete assigned work.
- Prepare daily work reports and report major equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and PPE.
- Follow all company HSE policies, site safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and carry out repairs within the required timeframe.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma, ITI, or technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Experience in construction, MEP projects, fit-out, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of refrigerants, electrical controls, compressors, motors, and ventilation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work at project sites and in demanding environments.
- UAE/GCC experience and a valid UAE driving licence would be an advantage.

Working Conditions:
The HVAC Technician may be required to work at construction sites, commercial buildings, residential projects, factories, or other operational locations. The role may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors, depending on project requirements.
