Job Purpose & Responsibilities
Responsible for performing HVAC maintenance tasks, fire alarm and fire fighting maintenance, and other assigned maintenance duties on campus facilities in a professional and safe manner while considering cost.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Experience operating a variety of equipment and small hand tools
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
- Initiative to recommend improvements or cost reductions
- Equipment and tools knowledge
Work Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a technician, technician apprentice, or relevant work experience
- Firefighting and fire alarm knowledge and experience is a plus
Language Proficiency Required
Basic communication skills in English.
