Position: HVAC Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to manage the design, coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems for building and construction projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP coordination, and UAE construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and supervise HVAC systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review HVAC layouts, shop drawings, schematics, and technical details.
- Coordinate HVAC works with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP services.
- Supervise HVAC installation works at site and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review contractor/subcontractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
- Ensure HVAC installations comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and authority requirements.
- Monitor site progress and coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering teams.
- Inspect installation of ductwork, chilled water piping, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, exhaust systems, VRF/VRV systems, pumps, and related equipment.
- Conduct and supervise testing, balancing, testing & commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Identify site issues, coordinate solutions, and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Prepare inspection requests, testing reports, progress reports, and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate HVAC material requirements with procurement and site teams.
- Monitor the quality of HVAC installation and ensure proper workmanship.
- Attend technical meetings with consultants, clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure HVAC works are completed within the required timeframe.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC Engineering / MEP Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of relevant HVAC experience in construction or MEP projects.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is an advantage.
- Knowledge of HVAC load calculations and equipment selection is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, airport, or large-scale building projects.
- Experience with chilled water, VRF/VRV, DX, ventilation, and smoke extraction systems.
- Experience coordinating with UAE consultants and authorities.
- Experience preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.

Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
