Job Description
We are seeking a GCC-experienced AC Technician to join our Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various air conditioning systems, including split units, cassette units, ducted units, package units, and chillers. Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in chiller systems is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning systems, ensuring optimum performance through preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults in AC systems. Perform refrigerant recovery and recycling in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Chiller Systems (Mandatory): Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and basic repairs on chiller systems. Monitor chiller performance and ensure efficient operation.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and promptly report major faults or repair requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to company HSE policies, HVAC industry standards, and all applicable safety regulations while carrying out maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Refrigeration & HVAC Systems or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in AC installation and maintenance within the Facilities Management industry.
- Mandatory Requirement: Proven hands-on experience in chiller maintenance and troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Proficient in servicing and maintaining split, cassette, ducted, package, and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in chiller systems (mandatory).
- Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling and HVAC safety standards.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in Facilities Management.
- Hands-on experience with chiller maintenance and troubleshooting is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency maintenance calls.
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
