Role Objective:
To provide efficient and cost-effective recruitment services for all Amana business units on a timely basis and within the quality parameters agreed with the internal clients. To ensure that the company has in place a set of policies, practices, tools and network that allows it to identify and recruit good quality candidates to meet its business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintains a good network of universities, recruitment firms and websites to ensure a continuous supply of good candidates.
Maintains effective and efficient recruitment practices and tools (Amana website, interview guides, assessment tools, etc.) to ensure an efficient and cost effective recruitment process.
Demonstrates efficiency in the use of Amana website and ensures it remains the main source for screening, recruiting and selecting good candidates.
Assists with the total recruitment process of Fresh Graduates and other positions as and when required from initiation of search to the successful start of work by the new employee.
Trains the Personnel and Administration managers/officers of the business units on the proper use of Amana website and monitors their usage.
Recommends changes and improvements to the Amana website; coordinates with MIS and Marketing departments to ensure implementation; and communicates the changes to the various stakeholders.
Stays abreast with latest applicable laws governing the conduct of business (limitation on nationalities, years of experience, etc.) in the areas where the Company operates to ensure effective recruitment process.
Studies job descriptions to become fully conversant with job requirements for various positions within the company.
Selects appropriate recruitment tools to secure good quality candidates in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Educates and trains internal customers in the proper use of recruitment practices and tools.
Selects and maintains a network of good recruitment firms and agencies to meet Amana’s requirements.
Liaises with PRO/GRO and Personnel and Administration Managers/Officers to ensure all formalities, travel and accommodation are in place for the successful start of employment of the new employees.
Designs recruitment advertisements.
Conducts initial interviews and provides feedback to both HR Manager and HR Director.
Generates and analyses recruitment related reports and provides statistics for the review of the management.
Assists in conducting presentations in universities on behalf of the Company.
Represents the Company at recruitment and career fairs as needed.
Provides general assistance to inquiries related to recruitment of staff employees.
Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree (or currently pursuing) in Business Administration or Human Resources
Will be joining as Human Capital Specialist under Nationalization department
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
