We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded, and hands-on HR Lead to establish and lead the Human Resources function for a diversified holding group based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the HR function from the ground up while partnering with senior leaders across the Group and its operating businesses. This role requires a commercially minded HR professional who can influence at all levels, drive organizational effectiveness, and deliver people strategies that enable business growth and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or relevant professional HR certifications
- 12–15+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles within startup, scale-up, entrepreneurial, or high-growth environment
- Demonstrated success in building HR departments, frameworks, and capabilities from the ground up
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to commercial performance
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence and credibility to engage and influence at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives, board members, and operational leaders
- Broad HR expertise spanning talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR operations
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working across multiple business units, entities, or geographies is highly desirable
