Job Summary
We are a well-established group of companies in Qatar with a workforce of approximately 700 employees, seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead our HR function. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, HR operations, compliance, and organizational development while supporting business growth across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Human Resources department across multiple business units.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labor Law and company policies.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
- Lead the performance management process, including KPIs, appraisals, probation reviews, and development plans.
- Identify training needs and implement learning and development programs.
- Oversee payroll coordination, employee benefits, leave administration, and HR documentation.
- Monitor HR metrics, workforce planning, turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment performance.
- Ensure all employee records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with legal requirements.
- Support succession planning, organizational development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Partner with senior management to drive continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Arabic nationals or Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Manager or senior HR leadership role.
- Experience managing HR operations for medium to large organizations (500+ employees preferred).
- Previous experience supporting multiple business units or a group of companies is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
- Experience developing HR policies, procedures, and organizational structures.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Professional HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, PHR, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
