Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders by aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives. The HRBP supports workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, succession planning, and compliance while driving employee engagement and business performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with department heads and senior management to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic HR advice on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
  • Support business transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce data and recommend HR solutions to improve organizational performance.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify workforce requirements.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
  • Participate in interviews and selection processes for key positions.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and successful integration of new employees.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the primary HR contact for assigned business units.
  • Resolve employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
  • Promote a positive work environment and strengthen employee engagement.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.

Performance Management

  • Support managers in goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Monitor performance management processes and ensure fairness.
  • Coach managers on handling performance improvement plans.
  • Recommend recognition and reward initiatives.

Learning & Development

  • Identify training and competency development needs.
  • Coordinate leadership development and succession planning programs.
  • Support career development initiatives for employees.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Provide guidance on salary benchmarking and compensation practices.
  • Assist in annual salary reviews, promotions, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure compensation practices remain competitive and compliant.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support HR audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Recommend policy improvements based on business needs.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics.
  • Monitor KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism, engagement, and recruitment metrics.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve HR effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA HR / MHRM) preferred.
  • Professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units is preferred.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Corporate organizations is highly desirable.
