Key Responsibilities:
HSSE Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with local and international HSSE regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE management systems in line with project requirements. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Safety Management & Risk Assessment: Develop and enforce risk mitigation plans for project activities. Monitor safety performance and report on HSSE KPIs. Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, providing root cause analysis and preventive measures.
Training & Awareness: Conduct HSSE training sessions for employees, contractors, and stakeholders. Promote a strong safety culture by leading safety talks, toolbox meetings, and workshops.
Emergency Preparedness & Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for project sites. Conduct periodic emergency drills to ensure preparedness. Coordinate with emergency response teams and relevant authorities when required.
Environmental & Sustainability Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental protection policies and sustainability initiatives. Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental impact assessments.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate HSSE records, including risk assessments, safety reports, and compliance documentation. Prepare and submit HSSE performance reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 + years of experience in HSSE roles, preferably in construction.
Certifications (Preferred): NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
