SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
This position involves key responsibilities for health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) tasks. You’ll play an important role in ensuring Jotun operates safely and complies with current regulations while providing support and expertise in your area.
This position reports to the HSEQ Manager and will be based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:
Assist the implementation of the HSEQ management system by working closely with the Element Owners.
Support to conduct HSEQ training to develop employee awareness and competence.
Supported planning and conducting HSEQ internal audits, safety walks, and inspections.
Responsible for supporting and monitoring within defined areas to drive HSEQ management system implementation.
Ensure that assigned relevant internal, legal, and statutory documentation is updated in compliance and implemented at the site.
Execute specific HSEQ tasks as required in line with the needs of the business.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
We are looking for a candidate who:
Emirati National as part of the Emiratization program initiative by UAE Government (Nafis)
Bachelor’s degree in science/environmental science/engineering diploma
IOSH or Nebosh or equivalent certificate
Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office
At least two years of work experience in HSEQ or related field
