HSEQ/MARINE SUPERINTENDENT FOR BULK CARRIER SHIPS Jobs in Dubai, UAE at CACHALOT TECHNICAL SHIP MANAGEMENT FZCO
- Conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitoring compliance with ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS and company Safety Management System requirements.
- Coordinating internal audits and supporting external audits conducted by Flag State, Class and third-party auditors.
- Ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement of Safety Management System procedures.
- Reviewing safety alerts, industry lessons learned and regulatory updates, ensuring fleet-wide implementation.
- Guiding marine related matters to ensure the best and safe practices are in use (e.g. cargo handling, PSC and Safety Inspections responses, emergency preparedness, navigation, safety, etc.).
- Assisting Marine Operation Lead and Contract Manager in operations.
- Appraising / providing feedback for appraisals of the marine crew Managing, overseeing and guiding within all maintenance and nautical matters.
- Eagerly initiating and driving crew trainings as well as identifying gaps and rooms for improvement in order to raise crew quality, skills and abilities Preparing the vessels for PSC, Flag and RS inspections
