Role Description The HSE Trainer – IGC will deliver high-quality Health, Safety, and Environment training, with a focus on NEBOSH International General Certificate courses, to learners in a remote setting. This full-time role involves planning and conducting virtual training sessions, developing and updating course materials, and ensuring alignment with NEBOSH standards and local regulatory requirements. The trainer will assess learner performance through assignments, exams, and feedback, and provide guidance to help participants successfully complete their certifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate training records, supporting continuous improvement of curricula, collaborating with other trainers and staff, and participating in online workshops or meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety expertise, including practical HSE knowledge and familiarity with international standards.
- Candidates should possess NEBOSH-related competencies, ideally holding the NEBOSH IGC or higher-level NEBOSH qualifications and understanding accredited centre requirements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English for remote instruction and learner support.
- Candidates should possess Training and instructional skills, including experience in Safety Training, course delivery, and learner assessment.
- Relevant teaching or trainer certifications, experience with online learning platforms, and knowledge of adult learning principles are beneficial.
- Experience in the GCC region, especially in Qatar, and familiarity with local HSE regulations are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, strong organizational skills, and a learner-focused mindset are required.
