Overview
Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies and programs specifically tailored for large-scale civil infrastructure projects ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of HSE professionals fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring effective execution of HSE plans across all project sites.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses for complex construction activities, developing and overseeing mitigation measures.
- Oversee the investigation of all incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent foundational HSE certification.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management within the civil infrastructure construction sector.
- Proven experience in leading and managing HSE teams on major infrastructure projects (e.g., highways, bridges, tunnels, dams).
