Position: HSE/Safety Officer (Fresh Graduate Saudi National)
Your Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and integrating safety standards into ongoing project activities
Assist with project site inspections and contribute to achieving defined HSE targets and objectives
Collaborate with teams to investigate workplace incidents, assist in preparing reports, and support the execution of risk assessments
Help prepare and distribute HSE communications, including reports, bulletins, and safety-related materials to keep teams well-informed
Actively engage on-site, observing and coaching staff on HSE best practices to promote a strong safety culture
Participate in worksite and subcontractor facility inspections, recommending corrective actions where necessary to ensure compliance
Continuously enhance your HSE knowledge through ongoing training and education
Maintain personal responsibility for adhering to all occupational health, safety, security, and environmental protocols on-site
What You’ll Need to Succeed
A Degree or Diploma in Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH IGC, or other internationally recognized Occupational Health & Safety certifications
Interest in pursuing a career in the Industrial Automation sector
Fundamental knowledge of HSE standards, regulations, and industry best practices
Strong observational and analytical skills to identify risks and recommend improvements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with site teams and personnel
Ability to compile clear, concise reports and documentation related to safety observations and incidents
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with eagerness to grow within the HSE domain
Dedicated to fostering a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with safety management systems is an added advantage
