Job Overview:
The HSE Officer will be responsible for overseeing the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations at the worksite to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. This role involves monitoring safety procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring all safety standards are followed according to company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the implementation of HSE policies and procedures on site.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine causes and corrective actions.
Providesafety trainingto employees and maintain records of training sessions.
Coordinate safety drills, including fire and emergency evacuation procedures.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all HSE activities.
Maintain compliance with local and international safety standards.
Required
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid QE/QG Approved Training Card.
Proven experience as an HSE Officer in a similar environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
Strongcommunicationandleadershipskills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
