HSE Officer (Health, Safety & Environment)
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across construction and project sites. The ideal candidate should have UAE construction experience and a strong understanding of safety standards and risk management.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of UAE experience as an HSE Officer in construction, contracting, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- NEBOSH IGC certification
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety standards
- Experience conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions
- Proficient in preparing incident reports and HSE documentation
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
- UAE Driving License preferred
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce HSE compliance at project sites
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and safety reports
- Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and safety awareness programs
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Coordinate with site management to implement corrective actions
- Maintain HSE records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Support management in achieving company safety objectives
